Banks Peninsula is located 70 km east of Christchurch, we arrived there in a day trip from the city.
At last we started to explore New Zealand's scenery, and what a great start it was.
The peninsula is extremely beautiful, with green-yellow mountains, turquoise-blue lakes, and perfect blue sky.
We got really lucky with the weather, in the morning it was very cloudy but later that day all started to clear up and the sun light added a lot and made the view even greater than it was.
